I really think we all need to keep in mind that the mayor is young. If the mayor was old, like Tom Murphy was, never would all the comments and controversy with every breath Mr Ravenstahl takes.
What I really want to know is why did PEMA feel the need to buy a Cadillac Escalade instead of a cheaper Hyundai Santa Fe, which would be approx. $25,000 less than an Escalade. But instead of begging the logical question, we ask why the mayor took it to a concert. Here is a perfect solution: Tell him to fill the Escalade tank up with gas and be done with it.
I think what the real 'beef' is with old men who cannot stand being shoved out of politics. Let him do his job without his every move being criticized.

Oh please. Don't tell we-who-voted-against-Ravenstahl why we think what we think.

For the 100th time ..... Age has NOTHING to do with it. Idiotic, self-indulgent stunts from a 90 yr-old mayor would have been just as distasteful to those of us who expect a certain amount of common sense from the "man" entrusted with our city's future.

He is the mayor, he needs to act like the mayor. He needs to quit idolizing his own reflection and he needs to quit whining when others don't.
